**I read old stories because they are far from finished.**
Don Quixote, Jane Austen, Shakespeare, Winnie-the-Pooh — I go into these books, look around a little, and see what is still alive in them today: humour, friendship, longing, madness, surprise.
No literature lectures. No final answers. More like:
**Come along. Have a look.**
**Don Quixote is my favourite example.**
A knight who charges at windmills. And his squire, Sancho, who would much rather govern an island — and somehow, between the two of them, a friendship begins to grow.
I like exploring these stories together with other people: on stage, at readings, and in unusual places.
Let’s see what happens when a 400-year-old book suddenly becomes part of the present again.
